I am so pale like to the point where people always think i look sick ha. So when I go out if i wear a dress I like to wear some fake tan. I have 2 favorites Sally Hansen and Wow Brown!!
Wow Brown:
I bought this tan at a beauty trade show about a year ago just because it was the cheapest one there and it's the best tan ive tried. I'll usually put the Wow Brown on a few days before and build it up, i love how it comes out coloured on your skin so you can see where your putting it. The only problem i found was dark elbows so i just put a small bit of Vaseline on them before i apply it. I put it on before bed and wash it off in the morning, it drys quick and doesn't smell as bad as others ive tried. I apply it with latex gloves or a tanning mit.
Sally Hansen:
I used to buy the dark one and I just ended up looking like an oompa lumpa ha, so now i use the light glow and it looks so much better. Its so handy if the last minute you need to go somewhere as it comes out straight away and covers everything. So if you have any marks or anything on your skin it covers it brill!! Or if your legs are like mine, I have thin skin so my legs look like road maps with my veins showing ha so this is a must have for me!! I love it!!

My skin has never been completely clear I always get spots and i hate it. I'm 23 and my skin is still like a teenagers!!!! ughhhh!!!! Ive been using the Thalgo skin care products and Nivea for a while now and they are defiantly helping. Sometimes I slip up and use face wipes which is really bad for your skin but if it's really late they are just handy, but i would avoid using them because they make your skin dry out.
Thalgo products:
- Cocooning cleansing milk- which is a make up remover, its for dry/sensitive skin. I just use a blob on a cotton disk to remove my make up. My skin always feels so soft after i use it. I use this twice daily.
- Cocooning tonic lotion- This is used after the cleansing milk it helps to tighten pores and remover any excess make up. I use this twice daily aswell.
- Softness exfoliator- I use the exfoliator once a week. My skin always feels so smooth after it and it looks better. It removes any dead skin building up on your skin.
Nivea products:
- Daily essentials extra gentle eye make up remover- because your eyes are sensitive and the skin around them is so delicate you don't want to use anything harsh on them. I use this because its so mild, I just use it with a cotton disk to remove my mascara. Its the only product Ive used that hasn't made my eyes sting!!
- Soft moisturising cream- I love this moisturiser its so light on my skin and it absorbs so quickly, I use this twice a day. Its amazing!!
My skincare routine!!
- First I use the Nivea eye make remover with a couple cotton disks and press the disks onto my eyes and leave for a minute. Then i gently wipe off the mascara, I don't ever rub my eyes because i don't want to get wrinkles lol.
- I use the cocooning cleansing milk after with cotton disks to remove any make up on my face and neck, I never use it on my eyes.
- After i use the toner to close my pores and remove any cleansing milk or make up left on my skin. I always let it dry.
- Then i use my Nivea moisturiser to hydrate my skin.
- I do this routine twice a day, before I put my make up on and when i take it off in the evening.
- Then once a week I use the exfoliator maybe twice depending on how bad my skin gets!!
Tips:
- Never use soap to wash your face, it removes the protective layer off your skin leaving it open for bacteria to get in and it drys it out.
- Try to avoid using face wipes as they remove all the moisture from your skin and dry it out as well.
- Use a eye make remover and avoid rubbing your eyes.
- Exfoliate once a week to help rejuvenate your skin.
- Find a good moisturiser that suits your skin type and use it twice a day. If you can find one with an SPF in.
Some products I find amazing are from the Dermalogica range, they have products for every skin type. They can be a bit expensive sometimes but they are defiantly worth it!!

I have always had bad skin so I have to make sure to keep my brushes clean. The main reason I use brushes is because so much bacteria gets on your hands and then when you touch your face it spreads and its not good for your skin, also the heat from your hands aggravates it. I never use sponges because they hold so much bacteria, if you do use them wash them in warm soapy water after use and dispose of them every couple of weeks.

How i clean my brushes!!
I always use Johnson's baby shampoo and warm water to clean them. I wash my foundation brush once a week sometimes more depending on how bad my skin gets. For the eyeshadow brushes i wash them after i use them, there are times i get too lazy to wash them mostly on a night out lol. After you have washed them leave them lying on their side on a towel, if you put them upright the water will run down and loosen the glue.
Tips:
- Use a mild shampoo.
- Wash foundation brush once a week.
- If you don't use brushes wash your hands before applying foundation.
- Wash eyeshadow brushes 2-3 times a week.
- Use warm water.
- Let brushes dry on their side.
- Never leave them to dry upright.
Hope this helped :)

How To Achieve This Make Up Look!!
Products I Used!
- ART DECO Rich Treatment Foundation number 12 mixed with number 15.
- Rimmel Stay Matt Powder.
- Essence Get Big Lashes mascara.
- Bourjois Paris 54 Rose Frisson blush.
- Essence Liquid Eyeliner Black.
- ART DECO eyeshadow palette.
- GOSH lipstick, shade 134 Darling.
Step By Step!!
Face:
Apply moisturizer to your skin before your foundation and let it sink in for a minute. Then using a foundation brush or your hands whichever you prefer apply a thin layer of foundation. If you have oily skin apply powder on top of the foundation in the areas you find gets a shine. I usually apply it all over my skin because it makes my foundation stay on longer. Using the same brush apply blush onto your cheekbones in a circular motion, this will keep the blush even.
Eyes:
Apply a light layer of white/cream eyeshadow onto your entire eyelid and under the brow to define it. Then use a light purple and apply it on your eyelid up to your crease. With a slightly darker purple work it into the crease of your eye making sure to blend it. Apply a thick layer of the liquid eyeliner to your top lid winging it slightly at the end to create a slight cat eye effect. Take your false lashes and measure them along your lid to see is they fit, if they are too long cut off a small part from the inner corner. Apply the glue and let it get tacky for about 20 seconds before placing them on. Once they are in place use mascara to thicken them up.
Lips:
I used a nude shade of lipstick, with the GOSH darling lipstick i found i didn't really need lip gloss but if you want to add it on just to add a more glossy look i would use a clear one or a gloss a similar colour to the lipstick.
The make up i used was a mixture of cheap and expensive brands, i find sometimes the cheap brands are just as good as the dear ones.

I have tried so many foundations in the past expensive and cheap. I
have very pale, porcelain skin so finding a foundation can be very
hard. The one brand i found amazing was GOSH!! They have a porcelain
shade which matches perfectly to my skin tone. I love this shade however
i found i do look a bit washed out with it so i tried the next shade up
which is natural. It is a slight shade darker and looks flawless once
applied. I find with a lot of foundations they either cake your skin or
don't cover at all, but this one covers and is very light on your skin.
In Ireland its 15 euro a bottle but it lasts so long. At the moment they
have an offer for buy one get one half price which i think is
brilliant.

Before applying i usually apply moisturizer and the gosh primer to my
skin. Then using a brush i apply a light shade of the GOSH x-ceptional
wear foundation and then a light powder to my t-zone. I would defiantly
recommend this to anyone who has pale skin or acne/bad skin as it has
great coverage with a natural glow!!!

I came across Penneys/Primark make-up a few days ago, i decided to buy some to test it out. I was impressed by how cheap it was each item was 1.50 euro each. I kind of thought by being so cheap they would not be as pigmented or not very good. I was very impressed by the pink shade of lipstick as i added some lip gloss over the top of it, the color came out brilliant. The mascara is good for an everyday use as its very thin, i usually like a thicker brush to use. The eyeliner is handy as you get 2 in a pack with a sharpener with it. I found the eye pencil quite sharp but once i filed it down a bit it was fine. Overall i would buy these again, they are great for using everyday for a casual make-up. As for the lipsticks they are fun colors and once a bit of lip gloss is added they look just as good as the expensive brands!!!
